Day 3 Blood Work; May 8, 2013

FSH: 7.24 Awesome! ...and, that's my birthday (July 24th)! Lowest number I've had!

Estrogen: they like to see below 95, mine is 638! Not sure what that means, yet!

39 mm cyst on left ovary. Doesn't look like a cyst that released an egg...?

No visible antral follicles. Key word, visible.

Histeralsalpingiogram next Wednesday, May 15th. Will meet with the doctor and hopefully get some understanding of the estrogen level and cyst.

Fingers crossed! I love the 7.24, makes me feel positive ;)

It"s Such a Shame

I always thought that when I was ready to have a baby with my wonderful and obnoxiously intelligent husband, it was a given, a guarantee of success; it's my birthright to give birth. Have sex and the baby will come; isn't that the way it's done? That's what they told me in high school! I mean, we are both award winning teachers, dammit! We have dedicated our lives to helping other people's children! For years we have been told what terrific parents we would make. "When are you gonna have kids; you're so great with them!" "It will be such a shame if you don't have kids!" Yes, it would be a shame.
